COURSE OVERVIEW

Triggered by historical major pipelines accidents’ impacts on people, infrastructure and the environment, and regulatory pressure, the need for a management system (MS) ap-proach became necessary to enable management in providing direction, guidance, sup-port, and evaluation to sustain continuous improvement in pipelines integrity and per-formance.

This course provides exposure to the foundations of pipeline integrity management sys-tems and their implementation to safeguard pipeline assets and maintain/improve their business performance.
It focuses on risk based methodologies to manage pipeline integrity in both new and aged assets, through a consolidated management system
